it isn't really old Amish if two of the characters have internet,cell phones . the stories never explain how some of the characters have influence with the police and a knowledge of police techniques, like on tv that Amish would not normally have. The older characters in the story haven't been developed enough to understand how they came to be and involved in this. Will and Ellen aren't really a romantic fit. I still like the situations they get involved in and how they stumble onto the solutions.Product details

I love the characters and their interactions. The description of Amish life. The accuracy and the scriptures and how they relate to the story
I love these mystery books. My favorite part is the Bible verses that proceed each chapter. These Amish ladies are on the cutting edge. Great reading.
Another delightful story to read that has humor, mystery and much more. These widows are fun to read about how they go about solving murders.
I like the Amish stories and how you actually try to figure it out yourself before you get to the end.
Another book in this great mystery series. I'm not going to give out any secrets of the story, but I highly recommend reading the entire series from the 1st straight through! Love these ladies! Even the older ladies in this group are fiesty!
Really get a kick out of the older widows. Who knew the one could have went higher in her school. I look forward to the. next book to see what the widows get into next. I books enjoy your books. Thank you
I liked the second book in the series, but I was a little disappointed that Bailey had to keep his secret from Silvie, and I can't blame her for being upset with him. I liked their characters, though. I also liked the scenes when Emma was jealous of Sabrina, Silvie's sister--she reminded me of...me. I was glad to revisit with returning characters.
